Calendula was used by Spartans for healing wounds after battle.
Calendula extracts give the Spartan wound salve anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, and anti-genotoxic properties. The natural olive oils further nourish your skin, while the sheep wool oil and bees wax protect your skin against the elements. Finally, the honey provides disinfecting qualities.

The Spartan wound salve can be used to treat most wounds.

There is no added scent to the Traditional Spartan Wound Salve. The only scent is that of the product's natural ingredients, which includes a very light scent of calendula.
