Skógsveran means "essence of the forest" in norrœnt (Old Norse). This tea is brown, like trees and earth, with a subtle vanilla and earthy taste. 

Granted, Skógsveran doesn't look as badass as Víkingablóð. Skógsveran is, however is super good for you*. This is because Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) is loaded with antioxidants, which slows oxidation of your cells (associated with Alzheimer, heart disease and cancer), and thus, slows aging and improves overall long-term health. Chaga also contains beta glucans, melanin, betulinic acid, superoxide dismutase, triterpenes, ergosterols, as well as minerals such as zinc, copper, iron, and manganese.

* Unless you inhale it. Inhaling it can be pretty bad and cause pneumonia.
